Security

1. SIGNING IN WITHOUT PASSWORDS
- • DataScope has no passwords to steal or reuse. You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email address.
- • Each code works once and expires 10 minutes after it is sent.
- • Codes are stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form.
- • After 5 wrong entries a code stops working and you have to request a new one.
- • At most 5 codes can be requested for one address per hour, with at least 30 seconds between requests.
2. YOUR SESSION
Once you are signed in, your session is kept in a secure, HTTP-only cookie that page scripts cannot read, and the sign-in form is protected against cross-site request forgery. The site is served only over HTTPS, and browsers are told to refuse unencrypted connections to it. Every cookie DataScope sets is listed in our Cookie Policy.
3. PAYMENTS
Card details pass once, encrypted, through our server to our payment processor and are never stored by CODEGENIX LTD. We keep the purchase record and at most the last four digits of the card. See our Payment Policy for details.
4. API KEYS
An API key is shown to you once, when you create it. We store only a hash of the key, so it cannot be read back from our database; if you lose a key, revoke it and create a new one.
5. YOUR DATA
Files you upload and the instructions you write are used only to run the analysis and any expert review you ask for. Specialists see a project only when you assign one to it, and you are not put in direct contact with them. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance.
6. REPORTING A SECURITY ISSUE
If you think you have found a vulnerability, or that someone has accessed your account, email support@datascope.digital with what you found and how to reproduce it. Please do not share it publicly until we have replied.
